Consequence City
What Is It?
Consequence City is a solo performance experience that blends immersive character work with stylized ceremonial punishment. The participant plays a privileged, image-conscious resident of Brightwater who has been summoned to publicly atone for a petty crime—typically shoplifting or social misconduct—through a ritualistic, visually stunning form of social correction.
The Experience
You will portray a character much like Caroline Maddox: poised, polished, and accustomed to getting her way—until now. During the scene, you will go through a multi-step punishment process that includes:
- Wearing everyday casual clothes to begin the scene
- Undressing down to tasteful underwear bottoms
- Dipping your own bra in thick, sticky slime
- Putting your slime-soaked garments back on, piece by piece
- Completing your consequence seated under a final dramatic downpour of goop
All of this unfolds in a bright, open studio space, with full lighting and film-quality composition. Your posture, facial expressions, and emotional journey are all part of the performance. The more you embody the character while introducing your own acting sensibilities, powerful the result.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong acting skills — You must be able to deliver subtle but expressive emotional beats on camera
- Comfort with tasteful undressing — You’ll remove your shirt and bra on camera (shot artistically and respectfully)
- Willingness to wear garments soaked in slime — Yes, it’s weird. That’s the point
- Commitment to character — From first word to final dribble, you’ll stay in-character throughout
