What Is It?

Water AI Training is a photo session designed to help train artificial intelligence to understand comedic, exaggerated human reactions to specific physical scenarios—particularly wet ones. Think of it like modeling meets slapstick. You'll be helping us capture repeatable, expressive poses as water is poured into your clothes: shirts, pants, and dresses.

The Concept

You’ll go through a series of short, looped photography segments. In each one, water will be poured in a specific way—inside a shirt collar, down the back of a dress, into the front waistband of your pants, etc. Your job is to deliver a big, funny, expressive reaction every time. We'll repeat the pose-action-reaction cycle multiple times so the AI model can learn the nuances of physicality, facial expression, and comedic rhythm.

Throughout the session, you and a shooting partner (ideally a friend you bring along, though one could be cast for you if you are comfortable working with a stranger) will be alternating turns between the giver, the person pouring the water, and the receiver, the person getting doused with water. Both roles are important to properly portray this slapstick scenario so we hope you embrace both parts.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong facial expressiveness — Think big gasps, exaggerated eye rolls, mock shock, cartoonish reactions
  • Comfort with water-based mess — Everything stays PG and clean, but you’ll be very wet by the end
  • Wardrobe flexibility — You’ll wear multiple outfits, including form-fitting tops and casual dresses. We’ll provide options if needed
  • Patience and stamina — The shoot is repetitive by design, so we need models who can stay playful and energetic throughout

The Goal

This shoot helps build a library of visual training data for comedic timing and movement under specific conditions. You’re not just getting wet for fun—you’re helping teach emerging technology to understand the human experience of absurdity, surprise, and play.

Pay: $300 for a 2-hour session
